Hi all, hoping for a bit of advice, help info local knowledge pics etc (lets just say anything you got!! :).

Getting married next march was looking at jungfrau, zermatt and Saas Feee. I have kind of settled on Saas Fee. Will be a group of about 15 including 3 little uns under 4 so wanted a child friendly resort - also quite a few non skier.

Anyone got any info about the areas - I am a photographer, so would like decent shots of my own wedding in brilliant surroundings. I know the town hall is pretty crummy, but we got to get the legal stuff done.

I know you can get married in the ice grotto, but was wondering how touristy it is - i am presuming very, but to be fair - i just don't know.

Does anyone know of any pretty churches (or spots) to have a blessing? Can i get helicopters that will drop you off anyone used horse drawn sleighs? anyone got any great ideas and contacts?

Planing on a chalet for me and my partner and anyone else who can manage a week away - for everyone else its going to be a long w/e so hotels. Any recommendations for hotels.

I have looked at the tourist board site, but really want some first hand knowledge from anyone with any experience of visiting.

Cheers in advance for any help - its well hard to organise something like this when you haven't been to the resort before.

Have you emailed the Tourist Office, to see what they suggest?

Otherwise, consider taking a long weekend there to check the place out for suitability :D

Been intouch with tourist office, but am hoping to get out there this summer - we will be heading off in the camper van to check out a few places. Anyone got any information about weddings at any of the suiss resorts. Looking itno it all further, it looks like it might be easier to sort something out in Austria, as a number of hotels seem to offer really good deals. Any sugestions on resorts switzerland or austria guys?

Cheers
