Ok, just planning ahead for next season. I intend to make 3 trips if possible, and my I will select from Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy.
I have done some research and checked out WTSS, and my shortlist has been drawn up. Here are my selctions for Austria. I would be most grateful if anyone who has been to all/some/any of these resorts would give me some feedback.
I am looking for info on the ski area in terms of ease of access, possibly ski back to resort, lift queues, snow, and any other useful info you wish to share.
I have selected the resorts based on their access to reasonably sized ski areas and offering suitable accommodation and atmosphere for me.
Heres the Austrian selection:

Schladming
Maria Alm
Solden
Ischgl
Serfaus
Bad Gastein
Nassfeld
Nauders/Reschenpass

Thanks in advance.

I liked Bad Hofgastein, nice ski area too, plenty ground to cover. Queues weren't big at all when I visited in February (don't remember exactly when).

Only been to Schladming on your list - definitely recommend it. Thinking of Bad Gastein for next year.

Serfaus and Nauders are both places with good ski areas and good altitude, but I know little about them.
Bad G was a possible for this year but St Anton won that battle.
Schladming is more than a possibility if I can find the right accommodation. Not too sure about these clubhotels.
Solden sounds "interesting"

We stayed at the Stradtor nice **** star accommodation but i did`nt get to ski as i had put my back out a few weeks before and then got a tummy bug in resort. The rest of the gang had a blast and enjoyed the skiing.Micheal Tritcher owns and runs the ski school he used to do private lessons if you want to try slalom.
