Hello!
I am going to learn freeriding next season,so I would like to ask You two general questions.First-what kind of equipment should I buy.Are Salomons teneighty skis enough,or maybe I should buy other ones?Second question refers to places in Europe that could be fine for riding.Could You reccomend some?
Hope to hear from You soon!

Ok, big questions... as for the skis, I would recommend hiring a few different models and seeing what suits your style best. The 1080 is a great ski but may be more suited to freestyle than freeride... the Scream is probably more of an all-mountain / go anywhere ski, for example. You might also want to try Rossi Bandits and Seth Pistols for contrast.

As for places... well Verbier is a fantastic place for freeriding but then so are many others; Les Arcs has fabulous off-piste as does Chamonix, although the latter might be best left until you are really on top of things.

A lot depends on where you are with your skiing technique generally; how would you rate your experience off-piste so far?
