Tomorrow I'm off to La Plagne...not too dusty, you might say, for a trip with relatives and youngish kids.
BUT I wish I was going to Switzerland rather than just via Switzerland!
As I approach skiing old age, the whole traditional values of efficiency and welcomimg service appeal to me more and more so...
...a hotel in Arosa, Saas Fee, Engelberg or Grindelwald would suit me so much better than an apartment in a purpose-built French ski station!
Not complaining too much though, any skiing is better than no skiing!
Here's to Switzerland next season....! :mrgreen:

Yep, pass the bottle on that one....make sure you go next year. Remember Warren Miller's: " if you don't do it ...etc....you'll be one year older.." (or something like that!)

I'll raise a glass to that. I have not visited lovely Switzerland yet for a skiing holiday, but I think next year might be the time.
