I'm living just outside Venice currently, and can see the Dolomites from where I am currently sitting. They are looking significantly more white than they have in the last few weeks (I was in Cortina last weekend, Alleghe the weekend before that, and both were desperate for some more snow). Friends up there at the moment report fresh powder and deserted slopes (though I expect the latter to change this weekend...).
Perhaps the season is saved in the Dolomites....

I came back on Saturday. It snowed solid for 48 hours on Sun/Mon. MAde for fantastic conditions while I was there. About 2m in 2 days :mrgreen:
Got a bit warm at the end of the week, resulted in thaw of snow on South facing slopes. Pisters did a gtreat job tho
Just got to persuade the girlfriend to come again with me now as she was not overly impressed with boarding due to a crap teacher :cry:
