Around about 1987 there was a tv prog called On the Piste. Was an hilarious look at skiers in Wengen and Soll. Laughing at the learning skiers fall off chair lifts - we have all done it. One of thos "knowing I have been there!" laughs!!
Anyway, anyone any idea where I can get hold of a copy?

On the subject of programmes - has anybody watched 'The Season' on BBC Switch which is a dramatised reality series about a group of ten teenagers who descend on Val d'Isère for their gap year?
It's so hideous it's compulsive viewing! Today, Hari & Holly realise there's only one modelling contract & they both want it. Abi takes Jay on a romantic weekend but Tom & Alex have other ideas. :roll:
Sometimes, when they aren't falling out with each other or trying to sort out their seemingly impossibly complicated love lives, they go skiing (or boarding). They all also say "like" far too much & are generally totally annoying.
I'm obviously far too old for it, but will no doubt sit down at 1.35 pm, flick onto BBC2 & proceed to have a rant for the next 30 minutes or so! (It may be on for longer but that's as much as I can take in one sitting)!! :twisted:

I watched "The Season" last year - from your description this is a repeat as it sounds familiar.
I agree entirely that it's so bad it HAS to be watched!!!
Never saw any of them in VDI last year sadly...... :(
