Where to Ski near Geneva in April

I have never been to ski in Europe before but have just been told I am going to Geneva at the end of April. I am only there for the weeke-end but might be able to sneak a day for skiing. Where would be the best place to go that is close and has reliable snow so late in the season?

argentiere will still be open then,with its altitude and north facing slopes the conditions should be still good.

Another vote for Argentiere - if it's not good there...
Zermatt is not too far away either and is likely to still have good conditions - depends how far you can travel.
As it happens we just added some new pages so you can quickly see what the snow is like near the various airports.
