Unfortunately this coming season I've got to take my teenagers during half term :( . (GCSE year and all that)
My favoured resorts are La Plagne and Les Arcs, cos they're high, pretty much snow sure, and vast. However France is likely to be really busy.
Anyone got any recommendations, for a resort (in Europe) that won't be too crowded at this time, but still has loads of runs and a good snow record. Particularly keen on motorway wide, tree lined pistes, such as at Les Arcs.
We're all experienced intermediate skiers/boarders.

Most places will be pretty busy during this time of year - but you should be able to avoid most of the crowds if you are a bit savvy about where you ski!
Somewhere with a choice of main uplifts, rather than one which develops a bottleneck, usually means that the ones further away are relatively queue free and if you head off away from the beginers areas and don't fallow the popular circuits you can avoid crowds for most of the day.
Good idea to bring a car then you can head off in different directions to take advantage of the conditions on a day to day basis and don't forget that Saturday is change over day most places so can be the quietest day on the mountain!
Try looking for a small company with good local knowledge - and then make use of this knowledge!
