The British Olympic Association (BOA) has today named the 20 ski and snowboard athletes to represent Team GB at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
An eight-strong park & pipe team will see returning Olympians Zoe Atkin, Gus Kenworthy and Kirsty Muir joined by Team GB debutants Mia Brookes, Liam Richards, Chris McCormick, Maisie Hill, and Txema Mazet-Brown.
A three-man delegation of alpine skiers will contest the men's slalom event, with Laurie Taylor and Billy Major set to line up alongside Dave Ryding, as he prepares for his fifth Olympic Winter Games having already announced that this will be his final season racing on the international circuit.
The cross-country team also boasts a wealth of experience with four-time Olympian Andrew Musgrave selected alongside Beijing 2022 veteran James Clugnet, and two Olympic debutants in Joe Davies and Anna Pryce, the latter set to become Team GB's first female Olympic cross-country skier since 2018.
In snowboard cross, Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale are selected for their fourth and second Olympic Games respectively, entering the Games as 2025 Team Snowboard Cross World Championship silver medalists, and with strong individual campaigns behind them. Ollie Davies, meanwhile, returns for a second Olympic appearance in ski cross having made his Olympic debut in Beijing 2022.
In moguls, Makayla Gerken Schofield returns for her second Olympic Games having recorded Britain's best ever Olympic moguls result at the Beijing 2022 Games. She will be joined by Team GB debutant Mateo Jeannesson.
Dave Ryding:
"It's a real honour to be selected to represent Team GB again. I am looking forward to performing on the biggest stage in front of a central European crowd for the first time in my Olympic career and I can't wait to get out there and into the action. I've never taken for granted what it means to represent my country and to have the chance to compete for Great Britain at an Olympic Games for the fifth time is something I could only have dreamed of when I went to my first Games back in 2010."
Vicky Gosling, GB Snowsport Chief Executive:
"Over the past four years, our skiers and snowboarders have shown they're capable of mixing it with the very best in the world, and the squad that's heading out for these Games is a real reflection of the talent, grit, and will-to-win that makes British sport so special.
