The Snow Centre in the UK and SnowWorld, the leading European indoor slopes operator, have merged.
The two companies will now operate 12 sites across five countries (Netherlands, UK, Germany, Belgium and France) and welcome over 4.5 million visitors annually, generating more than £100 million in revenue. The group will employ more than 1000 full-time team members.
Under the terms of the deal, the current shareholders of Snowcentres and Alychlo (the investment holding of the Belgian entrepreneur Marc Coucke) will each hold 50% of new partnership.
The company's headquarters will be in Roosendaal in the Netherlands and will be led by Wim Hubrechtsen as Group CEO, Snowcentres' Managing Director, Ian Brown, Bas van Tilborg as Group CFO and Maarten Schürmann as CCO.
