Last weekend, Swedish clothing brand Peak Peformance teamed up with pro freeskier Max Palm to transform the White Grounds skate park in London into a dedicated snow park – with dramatic results.
The space beneath the railway arches near London Bridge was covered with 30 tonnes of real snow and a custom rail and wall-ride set up. Skiers were pulled by a motorised winch into kickers to allow them to show off their tricks.
The atmosphere was boosted by live music from British DJ Hugo Taylor and MCs Scott Penman and Marcus Attwood.
As well as Swedish freeskier Max Palm, Britain was represented by Chris McCormick, Tom Greenaway, Ella Hall and Deja Parker.
This was Peak Performance's second urban rail-jam in London after a similar event held last September at Covent Garden.
