Mayrhofen for Christmas - Risky or not??

Thinking of bringing the family to Mayrhofen for Christmas, ~27th of December to 3rd of January.........anyone have any experience of skiing there over Christmas. Ski lessons will be up the Penkenbahn for the kids, but will try to get to Hintertux once or twice as well..more worried will there be snow at the top of the penkenbahn in late December. Have always gone to the snow sure Obergurgl todate.

im going on the 20th dec for the xmas week and ill be back there 10th jan, we do the jan trip every yr same week.... im not worried. there was tons of snow last yr and didn't have any issues skiing anywhere. also as a reassurance there is the tux which is skiable all yr round and conditions there right now are excellent. that's only a short bus ride away... like I say worst case. its great area to ski as well.
