I booked Bansko 7-14 Jan with Iglu, who sold me a holiday by Crystal.
I added some extras, ski carriage, seat choice, extra baggage weight, and a 6 day lift pass.
With almost zero snow in resort, but with some forecast for the middle of my holiday, Crystal have said it must go ahead as planned. If I cancel, there is a 100% loss.
I get that for the holiday, but when I asked for a refund of the extras, I was shocked to hear that they also are 100% losses. I mean, there's no way they've spent my money on a lift pass yet, nor incurred cost of extra fuel carrying my extra 5kg. Daylight robbery if you ask me.
Lesson for me is to leave booking 'extras' until the last minute.
