Snow is meagre atm, forecasts aren't optimistic, so confidence for my trip 7-Jan is low.
Doesn't anyone know if there's much to do there without a car should the worst come to the worst?
Considering taking the financial hit, sacking it off and rearranging for later in the season if there's not much available.
Also, I'm going solo, so if anyone else is heading that way and looking for a riding/drinking buddy, let me know. Cheers

Try this blog for a summary https://www.ontheluce.com/on-and-off-the-slopes-in-bansko-bulgaria/
There are usually ski and snowboard events and several festivals but I think most of them are usually around early March.
We were there in March this year but the snow was fantastic so we only spent 1 day off the slopes and just walked around the old town. I didn't see much else to do locally, e.g. ice skating, bowling, etc. that you often find in alpine resorts.

There is a lot to do in Bansko if there is not enough snow. There are a lot of Thermal Springs nearby - in Banya , Dobrinishte and prices start from 10 leva per visit up to 40-50 leva if it's in a hotel with saunas , Turkish steam room etc.
