It might be hot, hot, hot in the UK, but in the southern hemisphere the ski season is well underway. In Episode 97 of The Ski Podcast, host Iain Martin talks with Australian ski resort expert - and founder of - Rachael Oakes-Ash and Paul Anderson, CEO at (Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables).

They discuss the excellent snow start to the season, the importance of the Australian market to New Zealand, the challenge of recruiting enough staff and the last two difficult Covid-affected seasons.

Snow is next forecast to fall in New Zealand over the next week, in at least 8 Ski Resorts including Cardrona, Coronet Peak, Mount Dobson, The Remarkables and Treble Cone.

 At least 2 New Zealand Ski Resorts are reported to be open.
