Can anyone advise on how things are in French resorts in regards to my two girls, trying to book a trip for Feb 12th.
My 14yo has one jab and covid last week and is now recovered, I think that means she can access the pass sanitare?
My 12yo has only had 1 jab and is not eligible for dose 2 until Feb 3rd?
I know they need to test on departure but do they need to test daily for the ski lifts & restaurants etc?
Are test available in resort?
What sort of costs?

Super complicated as I understand it. I understand from 02 Feb the 14 year old will be able to use the NHS Covid app to prove her status (as long as she had a postive PCR test). I think the 2nd dose for the 12 year old is too late, so she will need to do daily tests in resort to get Pass Sanitaire (which you need for lifts and restaurants). Most resorts have testing available, but it's advised to book in advance. Around €20 for a lateral flow test.

Whether and/or how often the Pass Sanitaire will be checked on lifts is another question.

@iainm thanks for the reply.
Yes my 14yo had a +pcr last Tuesday and is now LFT negative.

I'm frustrated both my girls are not able to have 2nd dose until 3rd, it's 1week!

The daily testing was my interpretation, do you think we can bring our own LFT tests? Just thinking if would save queuing in a pharmacy daily?

Have you had to do this or have first hand experience of the daily testing for teens?
