First day of skiing in Lech. The conditions are incredible for December, also it is still quiet on the slopes.
Flight to Innsbruck was uneventful.Border control checked Covid Pass. You need to wear face mask with no lower than FFP2 marking anywhere indoors(and in the gondolas and lifts with covers).
Also they do check Covid pass at the entrance to hotels/pubs/restaurants.
But that's all a very small inconvenience for having an absolutely fantastic time on the skis!
Hope it will get better (& not worse) for everyone planning a snow holiday this season .

That's great news you made it and especially that it's worth the hassle to actually be there. I made it to The Lecht on Sunday so I at least made it on a ski lift in 2021 ...but trying hard though they were it was ice, heather and rocks so I had to try to convince myself I was enjoying it and not think about how great conditions are in the Alps, where I had been supposed to be the same day, right now.

No issues with showing NHS Covid status. One mountain restaurant asked for an ID too today...name on a credit card was sufficient for them.
