Verbier will be opening a new gondola this winter, meaning it will take just 6 minutes for skiers and snowboarders to get from the Swiss resort to Les Ruinettes.
The new Médran IV lift will take the original route of the previous lift. The stylish new 10-seater cabins are fully glazed so holidaymakers can enjoy views over Verbier and the surrounding valleys.
The Médran and Les Ruinettes stations at the base and top of the lift will also undergo a major overhaul by adding escalators to significantly ease the flow of traffic.
Verbier will open for skiing at weekends for this winter from 06 November to 03 December 2021. The resort will open fully from 04 December 2021 until 1 May 2022.
