So I bottled it, we cancelled our flights to Vancouver and our accommodation in Whistler.
So we're rolling the dice on Europe next year being "OK" to fly (C19 precautions on flights etc). I just wondered what other skiers are doing?
A mate has done some cheap flights and just got a hotel with a free cancelation policy and just getting lift passes in the resort to just minimise the risks of lost cash.
So, who's doing what?

Waiting and seeing... most likely to drive and self-cater but will see how things develop.
Many operators (transfers, ski hire, schools, etc.) are offering free cancellation terms (some yet to be announced) which will help with a bit of pre-planning.

I've ruptured my ACL graft so I'm not going anywhere. Waiting for further surgery, who knows how long that will be! :(

got my January trip lined up ...planning a round europe trip.. 1 week in the Dolomites 1 week in L2A and a week in Andorra ..2000 miles ...just arranged with the hotels though nothing definitly booked and if I can get across the Channel I will ring and confirm

Yes I'm playing the waiting game too but having skied the past 39 seasons I realise, would be a shame to miss this one so fully intend to go. It is quite interesting tour ops, though bookings are down terribly, are still selling holidays/offering deals in December/January so are clearly either hoping things will be better despite the current trend or there are some people happy to go skiing then quarantine on return (or according to a BBC story I read this morning, just ignore the quarantine requirements!). Or they are gambling that 'travel corridors' will stay open to the few remaining ski countries not yet on the 'must quarantine on return' list.

I would prefer not to have to quarantine but if needs must BUT if FO states we should not travel therefor no insurance now that's a concern. Andy
