Hi all

I've seen a fair bit of negativity about the present Covid-19 situation in relation to skiing next season. Hang in there and fingers crossed we will all be out on the slopes in the winter. We've just booked for Cervinia, if it happens then great but if it doesn't then it's for reasons out of our control. Apologies for sounding like I'm spreading the good word, it's just we all love our skiing and once everyone is safe we can all ski beyond our ability levels and drink/sing far too much once again.

I'm planning my trips. The good news is that because I drive, all I need is the channel to be crossable and the borders to be open, then can go anywhere that is open.

I ski 3 times season but as we only managed 2 this year the missus said we'll squeeze 4 In next season.....every cloud!!

I am currently looking on Issuu to see what sexy ski kit I can buy next season.

Like Far Queue I drive and have already decided on two of my destinations ...but the third is problematic....it depends on friends having a discussion ...and they seem reluctant...but the thing about driving is you can change your mind at the last minute....none of this booking 6 /9 months in advance ..

Well, my plan to get all my skiing in at Easter didn't work out too well this year!

I'll be going early and often next winter. Will wave to you all on the first lift (from an appropriate distance, obviously).
