Re:Ski hire and storage Passo Tonale

Last time we went to Passo we rented our skis from Maestri next to the Hotel Sport Vitoria. We were not impressed and in fact complained to Crystal who organised it. Poor quality gear, bindings iffy (husband's ski fell off while we were on a chairlift) Anyway, trying to avoid them this time. Skiset uses Cinto which has a branch on the street behind the Main Street. Looks to be not far from the lift pass office. Anyone got any comments about renting from Cinto? Also do they offer ski lockers to rent? We have heard there are lockers to rent somewhere close to the lifts but I can't find any info. Hoping to avoid the long hike / ski bus from the Adamello which we experienced last time. We're going on Saturday 25th Jan by the way Cheers

We used Cinto this week. Nice staff, good equipment but sadly no lockers.
There are lockers in a ski hire shop called 'Noleggio by maestro' that charged €20 per person but €10 per person if you hired your skis from there. ( I think Crystal might use these now but not sure) Their equipment looked good but we'd already gotten ours from Cinto. The lockers are fabulous. You can fit in skis, boots helmets gloves by well organised hangers and it's heated overnight so everything is dry and warm the following morning. Well worth it. Its near the ski pass office and also the chair lifts and you can practically ski into it at the end of the day to drop everything off.

You're here same time as us then We did end up hiring from Maestri in the new building next to the ski pass office. We rented a locker. I can confirm the lockers are fabulous and the best money I ever spent. The walk from Hotel Adamello is now a pleasant stroll in normal shoes. It's been mega busy today (Sunday). I suspect lots of locals are here especially from lower resorts. The snow is holding up well here in Passo but lower down even in Ponte Di Legno there's lots of bare patches especially on south facing hills

Sadly we left yesterday as we were there from 18th to 25th. You're right, Sunday quite busy as lots of families. Tomorrow it will be quiet again :0). Get to the glacier, 3000 feet. Great view at the top and also a great view of Passo del Tonale valley if you keep to the left side on the black. We had an Awesome week. Missing it already! :0(
