Organising a girls ski trip for mid March, any suggestions of where to go that time of year for 4 good days skiing? All ideas welcome!

what is important...?
id suggest a smaller resort for less lift queues and people on the hill but that will reflect on nightlife so depends what you want..

At that time of the season, you have to consider height - depending on conditions, a lot of lower level resorts will no longer be enjoyable. Resorts with glaciers, such as Kaprun, are guaranteed but you could also look at higher resorts like St Anton or Ischgl in Austria or Val Thorens in France.

Other things to factor in are flight times - for a short break, you should be looking at flights that allow you to ski for part of arrival and/or departure day. Picking a resort reasonably close to an airport helps!

For apres ski, St Anton and Ischgl cannot be beaten!

Anniviers for 90 min car hire drive. It's all about the skiing here though as apre non existant ime.

But, that suits me.

Zell am zee did 3 or 4 day hotel packages

If conditions are good, anywhere in port du Soleil which is close to GVA

sauze d'oulx is dead easy, fly into Turin and get the train to Oulx and the local bus to resort,really easy and cheap to do. Takes about 2 hours from the airport and cost about 20 euro each way.

I always stay at ciao pais, mountain restaurant. On the slopes, skidoo pick up and drop off and some of the best food I havd ever eaten.
