Hello,
Apologies if this isn't quite the right place for this, I'm new to forums!
I am on the hunt for a season job this winter and would love any advice/past experience people have to offer on great companies and resorts to work in.
I have worked 2 seasons in the French Alps (Portes Du Soleil and Trois Valley) as a chalet cook. Loved every minute of it, but wanting to broaden horizons to other company and resort. I have never skied in Italy before and love the thought of working in Italy for a winter, however, from the research I've done it appears that there are not many catered chalets in Italy? Am I right in thinking this? It appears to be more hotel/self catered based apartments.
I also have experience in working in the outdoors. Working on snowmobiles, snowshoeing, instructing, guiding, etc. therefore also opening up the opportunity to do work for tour/guide based companies too... this may be an easier route into Italy?
Italy is just an idea, I love all of Europe and would be grateful for any suggestions, advice or recommendations on all of the above.
Many thanks,

Natasha

My wife and I worked for silverski in La Plagne.

We couldn't of asked for a better company to work for we got a minimum of 7 hours ski time 6 days a week.

The two of us were chalet hosts in a 10 guest chalet and was living in so no early morning late night trekking between chalet and accommodation.

They have chalet in the three valleys and Latin Plagne.
