Winter Highland says

Admin posted Apr-2018

For our Scottish readers (and anyone visiting), *today* could be the day to change your plans...

Picture from Winter Highland showing "Glencoe Mountain: Base of the Access Chairlift at just 1200ft on the edge of Rannoch Moor on Wednesday morning."

Winter Highland wrote:It has snowed for over 36 hours straight in the West with 48 to 54cm (19 to 21 inches) at Glencoe and 60 to 70cm (24 to 28 inches) at Nevis Range this week. A largely fine Thursday before wind and hill snow return Friday, grab the opportunity for an epic April freshies day on Thursday.

Overnight snow showers expected to ease away from the Western areas post dawn Thursday to give a largely dry and fine day with some bright or sunny spells. Though the West has seen the biggest snow totals by some distance, all runs are in superb shape across all five Highland Snowsports areas so it really is a case of drop everything and get up on Thursday if you at all can.
