Having just spent 4 out of 6 days confined to local resort due to high winds . I'm now thinking of doing a basic off piste course at Passo Tonale on the 3/2/18. The snow is not looking great on the reports but there is no substitute for someone who is there. Anyone in Passo Tonale who can give information on snow conditions or advise would be most welcome. I have just a few days to make up my mind.
Many thanks

Hi, We arrived home from Passo Tonale on Saturday 13/01/18 and then snow conditions were fantastic, unless the weather has warmed up considerably I would expect the conditions to be good.

We arrived back on the 20th January.

The pistes were in great shape the off piste was very wind swept.

The run from the top of the glacier to down to the 2 man chair is great it goes red, blue, black, red, blue, red and is a proper thigh burner top speed of 70.3 mph down the first red. The black has an incline of about 40%.

The are a couple of off piste routes from the top of the glacier but very wind swept so gave them a miss but would of loved them in powder.
