Hi Everyone, Is it possible (easy)to do this, train from Salzburg to Saalbach on a Saturday ?

You need to check on the öbb (Austrian trains) website but there look to be trains from Salzburg to saalbach. You can get a ticket direct from the airport and get the shuttle bus to the station. You haven't said when your plane gets in but I put in 12.00 as the departure time and there looked to be some on Saturday afternoon. Good luck!

As the previous poster says, bus to Salzburg HB railway station. Then train to Zell am See, then bus 680 to Saalbach or taxi. (Saalbach doesn't have a railway station). OBB says Saturdays are a "heavy travel day" (I think they mean busy!) and seat reservations are recommended!

Go on to the Saalbach website (see above link)and you will find all the information you require about getting to Saalbach. If you are arriving at Salzburg airport, there is a direct shuttle bus service from the airport which avoids you have to travel from the airport into the centre of Salburg for a train which will,in any event, only take you to Zell am See!
