where to go via train from zurich

Hi There

I'm travelling with a 3yr old and I'm looking for a lovely quietist resort in Austria.
We want to check out Zurich first, and get the train to some lovely resort in Austria.
We were in St Anton a few years ago and loved it. But I'm looking for somewhere a little quieter now and more toddler friendly if possible.

We are coming from Dublin Ireland and first trip back skiing in a couple of years. So looking forward to it!
I love Austria! Lots of great memories.

Would love a ski in/out Toddler friendly resort. Good for expert snowboarder and good intermediate skier.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm getting overwhelmed here!

Try Lech or specifically Oberlech for ski in/out. Should suit all abilities in your party - Lech/Zurs now connected to St Anton by Gondola. Train from Zurich to the area is just over 2 hours or Arlberg Express coach service will take you direct to the Oberlechbahn in Lech. Hope that helps.

Austria has many excellent Kinder hotels, as the name says, they are specially for the families with young children. they have trained personnel to look after and entertain the children, will take them to skischool/ski kindergarten, organise other activities during the day and look after little ones when you have dinner (if you wish so). My sister has been going to Dachstein West with her children, loves it! Very convenient from Salzburg and not too far from Munich...but Dachstein is too far from Zurich. I'm sure there will be some nice places closer to Zurich.
