Hey guys.

I am looking to ge a cheap week away week commencing 14th Jan.

My budget is around £1600 for lift pass, ski hire and boot hire for both me and the Mrs.

I have been looking around and found a nice price for Passo Tonale.

Has anyone been or know much about this place? We are both intermediate skiers.

If you guys know of any other resorts please help with suggestions.

Thanks guys.

It can be windy but you can also head over to the area that is more tree lined to help in the conditions. If you like la ros you will like it here! Thes some fab deals at the moment too.
Don't forget your GoPro for some more great vids ;)

Cheers for advise. I have been La Ros the last couple of times with Ski Olympic but they have bumped their prices up now so thought it look somewhere else.

I smashed my Go Pro up in Iceland last month so that will be another added cost to the holiday :(

It's good to try somewhere new. It's snowing plenty right now in passo.
Get another GoPro... I love watching your vids!
What software do you use to edit them?

I have just booked to stay at the Grand Paradiso with the family, 6 of us plus our 20 month old daughter.

Can't wait as it was a little early to get the daughter on skis last year but she has already mastered walking around the living room in her ski's ready for this trip

Ski'd there last year.
Last minute deal after getting the all clear from injury, sadly coincided with the heatwave that hit the Alps, but still got some good skiing.

Not a huge amount of steeper or difficult stuff but good for intermediates. Novices are sell sorted as the easy blues are literally on the doorstep - step across the road from the town and there are a row of straightforward slopes served by lifts all along the road so no big queues as you can jump on any of them to start working your way up and across depending on your destination.
