Hi People!
I need information about ski areas in Blonay, cause I intent to go in february, next year. This will be my first time in Europe. I will be based in Netherlands, but problably won't snow and there is no mountains there.
I'll be with my daughter and I'd like that she has this experience for the first time with snow, also having classes of skiing. That's it. I have no idea if it's possible, so I count with this forum to help me. I choose Blonay after a long search, cause Blonay is not too distant from Geneva Airport. The others options are so distant (as Germany, Austria, etc.) between airports and ski areas and costs a lot. Thank you for your attention.

Hi Wanderly and welcome to the forum. I am sure many of the more experienced posters on here will advise you that Bloney is probably not your best choice as it is very small and a very low resort and may suffer poor snow. I note you are flying into Geneva....there are load more suitable areas just a short bus ride away that will be more fun and get you a far better sking "experience". I bet Admin and his mates will be able to give you a far better choice. Watch this topic. :)

There isn't actually any skiing at Blonay, it's a village on the outskirts of Vevey. The ski area is located at Les Pléiades https://www.lespleiades.ch/ which is about 10 km away. In winter I think you might only be able to get there from Blonay by train which would be inconvenient and expensive.
If you go to the "Ski Resorts within 3 hours of Geneva" page https://www.j2ski.com/ski_resorts/Airports/Geneva.html and click on the "Txfrs" button it will sort the list according to traveling time, there are a number of decent sized resorts with a good snow record that are only an hour away from Geneva airport.
You could also look at booking an all-inclusive package with one of the Dutch tour operators https://wintersport.sunweb.nl/busreis
