Hi guys,
I'm selling my deposit to stay at Chalet Zekki in Hirafu Village, Niseko for 7 nights from Jan 5 to Jan 12. It's a 17 person luxury chalet located in Hirafu Village. See details here: http://www.zekkeicollection.com/en/property/zekkei/
Our group was unable to make the numbers to make the property affordable so I'm looking to sell the deposit and hand over the reservation.
The total cost of the reservation is JPY 2,274,160.00
I've paid a 20% deposit of JPY 454,830.00
If anyone is interested in taking the booking from me, we would arrange for payment of the deposit to myself, and connect you with the booking agent to pay the rest of the fee to them. You would just take over the booking on our behalf. For anyone seriously interested I'm happy to Skype call with you, provide my own ID, booking paperwork, bank transactions and contacts of the booking agent to confirm legitimacy.
There is no negotiation on the price.

I'm already booked into niseko and paid up for January but I was reading your add and couldn't help thinking that usually if someone is asking for someone else to take over a booking (second hand effectively) it usually comes with a financial incentive but you say there is no negotiation on the price. Good luck with that. I hope you do find someone as it's a lot of money to loose but maybe offering an incentive may find you more interest. Jus sayin.

Whilst we have no reason to suggest this is not just as stated, we're not comfortable with this proposal.

Many agencies charge admin fees for changing bookings and - in any case - the safe way to do this would be for the new customer to pay their deposit to the booking agent, and for the booking agent to then make a refund to the original customer. That offers more security for all parties.

If anyone wishes to contact the OP, they may do so via Private Message but they do so at their own risk.

Hi guys,

As mentioned above if anyone is interested in taking the booking, probably the best way to arrange a transfer would be for you to pay the booking agent in full and for me to get a refund. I'm happy to jump on a Skype call and work out the details. I'm flexible to arrange something that works for you.

Cheers,
