Probably off to La Thuile in Feb. Went there many many years ago but cannot remember much apart from it snowing for a week. Hard. Recall that the red back to resort was like a half pipe at the end of the day and the 2 blacks back to resort are proper blacks but we'll groomed. Anyone got any tips on decent blues to warm up on and reds to graduate on to? Is the way to la ros well marked? Any favourite runs or ones to avoid?
I recall apres being quiet but it was a long time ago.

The run down to La Ros from the top is OK but it is a {or was} a bit of a drag to return ..long drag lifts Run 31 is ok ..here's a (poor) video taken with a hand held camera 10 years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MM_qnHBWZfo
The blacks down to the village are ok ...just steep and no 7 is just.....long
Nice place though

Are there any picnic rooms in La Thuile on the slopes? Mrs Dobby quite likes being able to scoff a sarny rather than have to pay for lunch
