SWISS Add More Flights This Winter

J2SkiNews posted Sep-2017

Swiss International Air Lines who prefer to be known simply as 'SWISS' are to offer London HeathrowSion again this winter. The flights are aimed at skiers and boarders heading to major Swiss ski resorts in the Valais including Zermatt, Verbier and Crans-Montana, which are much closer to Sion than Geneva.

The service is an expansion on the route trialled in February last season and is operated for Swiss by Helvetic Airways.

The flights begin in January and will be weekly on Saturdays with a total of 8 round trip flights. One-way tickets will cost from £64 or the 'classic fare' (including hold luggage and free ski transport) will; be priced from £79 one-way.

For skiers and boarders in Northern Britain, SWISS will also be extending its Edinburgh-Zurich flight operation into winter with a total of 13 rotations (26 flights) from December to March.

This will mean Scots and people living in Northern England can get direct flights to Eastern Switzerland with fast access from there to resorts including Davos, Engelberg, Arosa and St Moritz without needing to first take a flight to London to connect to Zurich services or make a long drive south if they want to fly with SWISS.
