Now here's a strange one. I've never had a problem before getting a shared transfer to the likes of PDS. However, looking for the same for Les Arcs 1950 is a different matter - they all seem to be private with a price tag of circa 300 euro pp return!
Anyone recommend a suitable transfer provider - not one that does the whole of the french alps en route!
Adders - looked at Ski Lifts and they only seem to do private :(

Hi, The closest SNCF (French national railway company) is at approximately 30 minutes (by car or in Funicular + shuttle) from Arc 1950.
TGV from Paris, Lille, Nantes and Barcelone
Eurostar from London
Thalys from Amsterdam and Bruxelles
Or you can take the funicular to go from Bourg St Maurice to Arc 1600 for € 7. Free shuttle buses between the different sites in Les Arcs (Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000). If you go by plane (geneve ariport) you could look for taxi companies and see if they do the shared transfer, you could try to look here http://www.taxi-airports-transfer.com/.
