Les Menuires Snow Reports - March 2017

Pretty warm out here in the Alps just now. It was an amazing 20C down in the valley today, 9C in Val d'Isere. It needs to cool down if this snow is going to stay.

That said, the conditions are not bad at all. The snow above 2000m is excellent, the cover is good. I skied around Courchevel, Meribel and Les Menuires yesterday. I'd avoid south-facing pistes in the afternoon and anything too low, as these pistes are getting very slushy and heavy going.

Otherwise though, skiing is good, but we could do with some more, and the temperature to drop!
