Yllas Pistes Open

Does anyone know when more pistes will open in Yllas this year please?

I'll guess middle of Feb - Finland school hols start 22 Feb. If Yllas is like the other Scandinavian resorts, they'll open up more lots more lifts a week or so before school hols. But why not contact the resort via the website?

can anyone tell me where the best place is to hire ski equipment is in Yllas ?
And also is there a cheaper way of buying the ski lift passes ?
Was there last year and hired our skis from the rental shop on the slope, so was just wondering if that is the best option to us ?

5% discount on lift passes if buy in advance on line, according to website. Dunno about in FI, but in some countries your accommodation provider may be able to get discount on lift passes (won't be much though).
