iPhone helmet mount

Hi All

Off to Obergurgl with 11 mates for my 40th on the 20th!

Can anyone recommend a decent helmet mount for an iPhone? I have a 7 so waterproof is not a criteria, just needs to fix well and hold the phone properly!! I don't want to spend a huge amount either as it won't see too much use to be fair - just for banter

Surely an earphone/microphone combo would be the way to do this, with the phone safely in your pocket.

Ah, sorry - my bad! I should clarify that it would be to use the camera

Even if you can find a good mount, I would be wary of doing so. I have a GoPro and am constantly banging it off lift bars. It is in a sturdy case and so this does not matter too much. Given that an iPhone 7 would be bigger and more delicate, I am not sure it would survive the experience :oops: . Also you might want to have a look at operating temperatures for the phone - if it was a cold day, prolonged exposure to the weather could lead to problems.

That's a good point, it was a bit of a whim and in retrospect for the amount of time I'll use it I'll just 'point and shoot' - thanks!
