Portes du Soleil Ski Pass options

We are going to Morzine for two three week blocks starting this January and I am wondering if anyone could advise on how and where to buy ski passes? I guess a season pass will be the cheapest, but should we purchase online or wait til we get there. If we have previous week passes for the area, can they be topped up online and how does it work.

Wondering if anyone has knowledge of the most cost effective way of buying passes.
