There is a J2Ski connection, by Darcicles.
On Monday, watch:
"Set your recorders or hit iPlayer Billy Bunter will be airing on the Victoria Derbyshire show Monday 28th November BBC 2 9-11 am (Billy should be on around 10 am). Off the back of the documentary, Billy and I have been invited to take part on the live show discussing facial difference and discrimination. One question being discussed is should schools as part of the national curriculum teach about facial difference and how children can be on the receiving end of discrimination and prejudice from their peers.
This was posted on another site, by a lady, whose J2ski name is Darcicles. Last year, she appealed for help regarding her disabled son, Billy. Through a BASI website, I put her in touch with DS support. You can view this on http://alpinefreedom.co.uk/biskiing-in-hochfugen/
If nothing else, this shows the power of J2Ski, and how we can help those less fortunate than ourselves.
I am fortunate that every mid January, my Niederau ski coincides with the annual DS visit. I get to meet with many DS skiers, their instructors, and helpers.

Well done Dave - its exactly what forums like this should be able to achieve
I'm absolutely in awe of DS skiers - be it in sit skis or whatever adaptation. As someone who is able bodied (ahem) I find skiing by far and away the most challenging of all the various sports and activities I do, to do it with a disability is just amazing
