Pre-Xmas Deal to ClubMed Tignes - from Skiline

Admin posted Nov-2016

We don't often highlight individual deals here, but this one does look particularly good value for anyone looking for a cheeky pre-Xmas short break.

ClubMed Val Claret, Tignes

The price of £399 - for a 3-night stay at ClubMed in Tignes - includes just about everything (food, lift-pass, txfrs, etc.) except for your outbound flight (the low price being made possible by the use of an otherwise-empty charter flight for the return).

Skiline wrote:Ski Line are offering an early season all-inclusive ski trip to Club Med's All Inclusive Tignes resort departing from London Gatwick on the 8th December for just £399. (plus the cost of outbound flights, currently available with Easyjet from £37. )

The price of £399 includes return resort transfers, a full area ski pass, ski lessons or guiding, including off piste for advanced skiers, all meals which includes a huge buffet breakfast, 3 course lunch with unlimited wine (can be taken in either Tignes or the Club Med hotel in Val d'Isere), pre-dinner canapes and a four course evening meal. The bar is open all day and all non VSOP brand drinks are included in the package, including cocktails.

- You will be required to buy your own outbound flight on 8th December to Geneva on an early morning flight, currently easyJet (from London Gatwick) are priced from £37.
- You'll be transferred by coach directly to Tignes (about 3 hours) and will arrive in time for a three course lunch with wine or to hit the slopes for an afternoon of skiing. On the last day (Sunday 11th December) guests you'll be transferred back to Grenoble airport mid-morning after breakfast for a flight that lands back at London Gatwick 15:00 Sunday afternoon.

With the additional snow on the way this weekend, conditions in Tignes should be fantastic and the slopes deserted! Currently the snow in Tignes is amongst the best in Europe with 90cm at the bottom and 1.5m at the top, more heavy snow is expected Saturday continuing over the weekend, so conditions should be perfect for the 8th December. An addition 30+ cm is expected in Tignes over the next few days.

For more info, visit www.skiline.co.uk (the price on this page does NOT include this deal) and give them a call!

Interesting.

Have looked at Club Med previously but we are not fans of TO holidays and I've always been put off when reading mediocre reporting on Trip Advisor. I know Tony H had a good experience with Club Med though (I think Cervinia?) so perhaps it's a hit and miss sort of holiday?
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

That looks a fantastic deal Admin. If I wasn't already sorted, I'd be looking at flight!

I have just booked to go.. Its even better news now as the flight to Geneva is £31 (plus baggage) and Skiline have just chucked in the first afternoons ski pass as well. Roll on 8th Dec. :)

I'll put a few lines in for you on Friday and if I sit down enough at the top and in the middle of every piste I'll flatten enough spots out for you to have a nice rest every couple of mins. Great choice mate. Snow looks like it's here to stay.
