It will be linked from Signal de l'Homme (Auris) and Le Cret, not stopping at Freney. I've read differing reports on timing. 2018 and 2020. It has been talked about for years but it looks like it may be happening according to the locals and these recent articles.

If and when this happens, I can't imagine too many skiers using Les 2 Alpes once they've sampled Alpe D'Huez. ADH is a vastly superior ski experience whereas Les 2 Alpes was the worst place I've been in 40-plus years. Even having La Grave nearby didn't redeem it, I'm afraid.

I live in Oz en Oisans, so I enjoy the 250km of pistes Alpe d'Huez has to offer most days. For me, a link extending that to 460km of pistes plus the additional off piste area would be utopia, even if it is les Deux Alpes.I only hope the season pass does not double in cost!

I have concerns about what this will mean for ADH, I suspect it will get the majority of the traffic and suffer as a result. I've been to ADH several times, but never fancied L2A.
