ski advise

I am from Malaysia and currently in Mannheim for few months for work. Im going to try out skiing and wondering if i can rent out jacket and pants at the feldberg ski area. I\ve read somewhere that the place is quite crowded during weekends.. is it better on saturday or sunday? Planning to go there this weekend. any tips or perhaps a better place to ski nearby?

You will probably be able to buy a jacket and pants fairly cheaply at this time of the season, not really something that is generally hired. The jacket will probably be useful as you'll find it cold compared to Malaysia even off the mountain!
Boots & skis can be hired easily enough.
