I am aware of the skiset deal offered by j2ski but I used ski set before and even with the discount it was the same price as the resort price. I also found that I could of hired (advanced) skis and boots cheaper in a different shop than the ski set price. This was in Austria.
I wondered if anybody had any info on the cheapest cost/hire situation in arinsal. We are staying in st gothard

Nice hotel ..enjoyed it there...you hire your skis at the top of the gondola..you can leave them there when you come down..you need to bring them back to the hotel if you want go to Arcalis..

I would see if the hire shop on the hill allows you to store your skis there at night as Daved suggests. This would be a great money saver as hiring a locker up there is really a must.
