We are after some advice please people. Can anyone recommend good places for cross country skiing in Scotland? We are looking to spend a weekend 22nd -24th Feb. I have found some websites who hire etc around Aviemore but would like to know if anyone has any experience or suggestions for this area or other places. Many thanks.

The cross country piste basher also has a facebook page which you don't need to be a member to access. It gives updates on snow and if trails are bashed. (Link via the above website)
I don't have first hand experience yet but it is a great area in summer and I am looking forward to heading up there in a couple of weeks.
