How to get from Beaver Creek to pick up a hire car at Eagle Vail Airport

I wondered how much a taxi would cost? No baggage, just going to pick up the hire car in 2 weeks time on a friday afternoon.

Also I hear there is a bus. The CME shuttle is $52 per person, and two of us are going - 1 for navigator, so at $104 that was a bit steep. :(
