What do you think about skiing on artificial snow made from sewerage waste water, that has been found to contain pharmaceuticals, hepatitis, industrial pollutants and drugs that could be harmful to children playing in the snow and to skiers? Would you let your children ski their? That is the situation we have in Flagstaff Arizona's Snowbowl.

That's not good at all! Maybe swimming in the sea you sort of expect that, but not skiing!

As it is an American resort, will they now expect condominiums to start popping up?

Well if I'm honest I feel this is a very good use of waste water. Sewerage treatment is extremely developed in the USA and the uk, the end of the cycle produces a clear water which is considered waste and is usually discharged into rivers or seas. In some cases the water is reused for other purposes such as watering plants. Example Las Vegas, all waste sewerage water from both washing and sanitary matters is processed and reused for watering the numerous golf courses and fountains. The water at the end of the treatment cycle and is surprisingly clean in developed countries. What most people may not realise is that artificial snow is pumped full of chemicals to aid the freezing process to produce consistent snow.
Do you give a second thought to artificial snow produced with "mountain water"? There is no reason not to use this wasted resource.
Just my two cents.
