Hi Guys!

I'm from Sunny Island, Singapore. Since its the holidays season in SG, my family and I planned to go Europe for our Holidays. We will be visiting our uncle in Holland and travel from there to Germany , Austria and maybe Spain for about 12 days. We would LOVE TO GO SKIING...But we have not the slightest idea to get started.

For example,
i) where would be the best place to go for skiing, economical ones preferred
-Slovakia is a reasonably good in pricing and stuff but it takes long journey from Batislava

ii) What do we have to look out for packages/deals?

iii)We would like to feel for the hostel like atmosphere for our accommodations like The Ginger Monkey in Zdiar, Slovakia..

Thats all for now I guess..

I would be grateful if anyone could give some advice here!! Thanks!!

If you are heading to Spain you could go to Andorra which would be a good place to learn to ski and not too expensive. Soldeu or El Tarter would be my suggestions.

If you are going too Austria why not ski there?
It is, in the main less expensive than the French or Swiss resorts.

Hi Apophis, like Andy said if you are already in Austria you should try and ski there, where are you staying? If you are in a big city like Salzburg or Innsbruck there is skiing within reasonable distance.
