Hi,
My family is coming over to ski and would love to know what is best to ski for the day, we never skied before and would love to get some insight. Also how easy is it to get to both areas?

When are you going to NZ? also, where else in NZ are you going to be?
Whakapapa has a better learners area, particularly if the weather isn't so great.
If you are travelling from wellington, Turoa will be a little closer, and if from Aucland, Whakapapa will be closer.
If possible, you should be flexible with the day that you want to go, and try to pick a day with nice weather.
