chile skiing

Can anybody give me any info on conditions this year at valle nevado or portillo? We are going down in a couple weeks and would love to ski but everywhere I check it seems they have not been getting any snow. Not sure I want to book if conditions are not good.

Have friends that are training there now. Fog, rain and lack of snow.

Do not bother trying.

Roads dangerous.
