when does snow normally start to fall there? i normally go to falls creek which is looking good just now but this year going to queenstown and its looking not so good!

when is your holiday booked? They have good snowmaking weather at the moment with some snow predicted over the next week. Given the extensive snowmaking, if you are going after this week, you will be fine.

The local forecast is looking much more promising than the one on here, with temps staying below 0 all week at resort level.

It was raining at the resorts today, but the freezing level is supposed to drop to well below base level overnight with snow on and off all week.

we go at the end of july so loads of time between now and then but i always get nervous just before the season starts if there isnt much around! i been keeping an eye on the report and it said it should have snowed alot more than what it has!
