Can anyone suggest the best place to ski close to Grenoble? We're getting cheap flights to Grenoble and are looking to ski on the cheap (second trip of the year..!). Looking to ski for three days. Can anyone suggest a good option bearing in mind transfer cost and accomodation? We're intermediate skiers.

Alpe D'Huez and Les Deux Alpes are a couple of hours transfer, both decent sized resorts. Google a company called "Ben's Bus", I know they do shuttle transfers to LDA, they may do other resorts too.
Up there for thinking, down there for skiing...
